CUTWING gives you one button and two things to think about: where the next cloud is, and how much wing you can afford to lose. A sheet sweeps over your folded wing. Cut it at the right moment and the piece you remove sends you flying in the opposite direction.
You can play CUTWING in the browser now. It is part of Poppivo’s free early demo, with no account or app installation required.

The first move
Tap the playfield or press Space. The opening sheet waits in the centre, so your first move lets you see the cut and landing without chasing a moving target. After that, watch the sweeping sheet before committing. A short tap is enough.
- Cut an overhang on the left to travel right
- Cut an overhang on the right to travel left
- The amount you remove changes the distance you travel
- The part you keep becomes your next wing
That last rule matters. A cut that reaches the next cloud can still leave you in a difficult position. Your next jump has to work with the narrower wing you just made.
Look at the landing and the wing together
Start by reading the cloud you want to reach. Then watch which side of the sheet is hanging over the wing and how far it extends. A bigger cut gives a different flight, but it also spends more of the surface you need later. Cutting too deeply can tear the wing apart before you make a useful landing.
For the first few attempts, focus on connecting ordinary clouds. Small cuts can help repair width, and every sixth cloud is a dock that gives you a fresh wing. Reaching that dock is a useful short-term goal. There is no countdown forcing you to make a cut immediately.
Your offcuts can change the course
Large offcuts can become optional ledges farther along the route. The next-strip display shows what is waiting. That makes the pieces you throw away worth watching: a cut affects both your current flight and a later place you could land.
You do not need to chase every optional ledge. Read the next safe landing first. Once that feels familiar, try noticing which of your earlier cuts has left you another route.
If the timing feels too quick
Open Settings and look for CUTWING’s Slower sweep assist. It stretches the sweep from six seconds to nine and keeps a separate record. It changes the timing of your next run, so use it to learn the relationship between the cut and the flight rather than comparing its score directly with a standard run.
CUTWING is a visual timing game. Space and the labelled Cut control give you alternatives to tapping, and sound is optional, but following the moving sheet still requires sight.
A simple goal for your next try
Aim for a dock with enough wing to make the final landing comfortable. When a run ends, look at the reason: did you cut too deeply, miss the cloud, or fly out of bounds? Those are different mistakes. Change one part of your timing on the next attempt.
For another one-button game, try the SKYFALL stacking guide. If you would rather stop and think between moves, SEAMKEEP is the untimed option in the same demo.
